Retention Program
To ensure the long-term stability and effectiveness of our police force, the Southampton Public Safety Foundation is developing initiatives aimed at improving retention among first responders. This program seeks to address the challenges of officer burnout, recruitment competition, and career sustainability. By investing in retention, we help maintain a highly trained, experienced, and motivated police force dedicated to protecting Southampton.
Scholarships
As part of our commitment to strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community, the Southampton Public Safety Foundation proudly supports the families of those who serve. Through our scholarship program, we provide educational opportunities for the children of eligible Southampton police officers and sworn civilian employees, honoring their dedication to our town.
These scholarships are awarded annually to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to community service. By investing in the next generation, we not only support the aspirations of these young individuals but also recognize the invaluable contributions of their families to the safety and well-being of Southampton.
